Citibank announced a few days ago its commitment to cover 100% of its energy consumption with renewable energy in 2020, as part of a global strategy to minimize the environmental impact of its operations. This ambitious goal is part of a broader sustainability plan that includes both reducing emissions and promoting new investments in clean energy.
“We are committed to using renewable energy to meet the energy needs of all our operations, while continuing to offer financing for energy efficiency and clean energy projects for our clients,” said Michael Corbat, CEO of Citibank.
