Amid a rather turbulent international landscape, with constant tensions in global energy markets, households in our country have begun to feel a welcome respite. The average electricity bill drops by about 10 euros per month, a figure that, although it may seem modest at first glance, represents a fundamental change in trend in the domestic economy.
This phenomenon is not a matter of chance, but rather the result of a profound transformation in how we generate electricity. While a few years ago we were at the mercy of fossil fuels, conditions have now changed. Spain's rapid investment in the installation of solar panels and wind turbines has created a kind of protective shield against price instability international agreements, allowing the energy transition to move beyond being a future promise and become a tangible benefit for today's consumer.
The plummeting decline in dependence on gas
